I enjoy visiting DomainTools not for their online tools such as whois, bulk domain name checking, and typo generator, but for their coverage of the auction circuit and domain sales. Jay Westerdal does a masterful job of providing a true service to the industry just by promoting his Domain Roundtable conventions and associated auctions. I attended the 2007 Domain Tools auction in Seattle , and although I was less than impressed by its execution and domain inventory, I remained appreciative that Jay was doing his part to promote liquidation in the marketplace.
